The museum’s extension, Gösta’s Pavilion, has gained many prizes for its architecture. On the short orientation tour, you will get a flying start for your day!
  • 11.30 It is time to find out your artistic talents at the interesting and intensive art workshop! You may choose (in advance) from these two special workshops, which are carried through by professional artists:

ACRYLIC PAINTING

In this workshop you will dive into the world of art with the guidance of an educated visual artist. The first lesson will familiarize you with the materials used in painting and you will begin your own work. On the second lesson you will get inspiration from the museum’s exhibitions and combine the newly learned aspects of painting and the ideas rising from the seen artworks. The last lesson will make you ponder the things you wanted to include in your own work, which colors indulged you and how did the whole process of painting feel like. Your artwork is now finished and you can share your experience with others!

OR

SCULPTURE MODELING

How do you look at a sculpture? How do you mold one? With the guidance of a professional artist you will take a tour at the Art Museum Gösta’s exhibitions and Sculpture Park. You will become familiar with different shapes, material and technic used in the process of sculpture modeling. After the inspirational tour you will start working on your own sculpture with the help of an educated and encouraging artist. Real sculptor’s equipment and plaster are used in the modeling. After you have finished your work you may take it with you.

  • 13.00 Lunch break
Restaurant Gösta is the perfect place for art & design lovers: sit on the funny, bouncy design chairs and relax in the beautiful milieu! Let the Art Menu, inspired by the art on show, indulge you!
