Proposals for exhibitions
Serlachius Museums organise exhibitions in two museum buildings in Mänttä: Art Museum Gösta contains three spaces of different size for contemporary art exhibitions (100 m2, 300 m2 and 600 m2). We showcase Fine Arts Foundations own collections at the manor house connected to the museum. Exhibitions at Museum Gustaf introduce the history of Finnish paper industry and art.
The Director of the museums together with the specialists of the Department of Exhibitions and Collections are responsible for planning the exhibition programme.
Artists are often selected by invitation. One can also send proposals for exhibitions at proposals@serlachius.fi. We accept proposals only via email, and do not give any feedback on received proposals. The exhibition calendar is often planned for three years ahead. The proposals will be attended to a couple of times annually.
