My Museum

Minun museoni – My Museum is a children’s book that the Serlachius Museums has published. Containing lots of pictures, the colourful book tells about museum life and work done in a museum with the help of questions and exercises. The book offers pleasant activity and evokes thoughts about the museum operations and exhibitions. .

The book challenges us to consider how art is present in exhibitions and what museums are needed for. At the same time the book encourages learning by doing and experiencing in museum environment. The book is intended for small readers and pupils of primary school. It has Finnish and English texts.
