It brings you directly to the museum (approx. 5km) and later in the evening takes you back to the evening train.
On the days between Christmas, Train & Taxi will be available exceptionally on Thursday 26 Dec instead of Tuesday 24 Dec. You can also combine Thursday’s visit with a Christmas public sauna day at Serlachius Art Sauna!
Christmas trail for children – solve the puzzles in Taavetinsaari or in your own local forest!
The Christmas trail, which has already become a tradition, goes around the natural island of Taavetinsaari at Serlachius Manor. The ten mailboxes on the Christmas Trail contain inspiring tasks that can be solved by both children and adults. Pick up the answer slip from the museum’s ticket office. You can return it to the ticket counter and check the correct answers – and join the museum’s mailing list by submitting your contact information! You can also walk the Christmas trail outside the museum’s opening hours with QR codes.
Please note that you can also solve the Christmas trail tasks in your own local forest! You can access Serlachius’ Christmas Trail wherever you want. Link valid until 6 Jan 2025. Happy forest moments!
Wishing friends an artistic Christmas! Museum shop full of gift ideas
MD Lenkkeri’s legendary diagnostic shirt “Päällepäin terveen oloinen” [By the looks, in good health] always delights new recipients. Or does the gift package end up concealing a puzzle made according to a work of art, a Schjerfbeck mug, rowan berry candies in a gift box or a biography of a paper mill owner? Don’t forget the gift cards to Serlachius!
The products of the museum shop are adorned with unique art motifs from Serlachius’ art collection. We favour domestic small producers and emphasise environmental aspects when choosing products.
Museum shops at Serlachius Manor and Serlachius Headquarters are open Tue-Sun 11 am–6 pm.
