Les dîners de Gala
The publication is based on Salvador Dalí’s late masterpiece, the surrealistic cookery book Les dîners de Gala, and is a tribute to the great surrealist, whose life and art are indivisible.
Salvador Dalí first made a name for himself in a Europe on the brink of the Second World War. His posthumous reputation has centred on his brilliant works but also on his contradictory public image and forgery scandals.
An eponymous exhibition at Serlachius Museums gave rise for this book.
