Following the red line of the quest for happiness, the publication brings together Italy’s most interesting contemporary artists. It shows a wide and fresh panorama of the contemporary art production in Italy. For many artists, creativity and energy have been the answer to the economical and political crisis that struck Italy in 2008. Their work portray a kaleidoscopic interpretation of happiness in present day world. Spirituality and materialism, family and comunnities, time and nature, history and identity, politics and freedoms well as feelings and technology are key concepts through which the rapidly changing concept of happiness opens up.
