Keith Tyson – Prospective in Progress | Serlachius

Pauli Sivonen, the director of the Serlachius Museums, was first introduced to the art of British artist Keith Tyson during his visit to London in 2019. He discusses the artist and his work in his podcast Keith Tyson – Prospective in Progress.

Keith Tyson studied mechanical engineering before his career as an artist, and he has been interested in programming since childhood. He has always been fascinated by things that lie at the intersection of art, technology, and science. He is inspired by how things are connected and how one thing leads to another.

Keith Tyson’s exhibition Universal Symphony is on show at Serlachius from May 24 to October 26, 2025. The podcast serves as a foreword written by Pauli Sivonen for the exhibition publication about the artist and his work.
