For day care, primary education and upper secondary schools, the group price is €1–2 / pupil / programme. The minimum fee / group is €20–40. Prices include VAT.

The teacher or the instructor of the children’s group can join free of charge. Outside the actual opening hours, we also charge a customer service personnel fee of €50 / starting hour. We reserve the right to change prices.

Serlachius organises a large number of school transports to the museum every year – especially from Tampere Region and Central Finland – and pays for these transports in full. For environmental reasons and to ensure the efficient use of resources, the support will only be targeted at full buses, i.e. groups of about 50 people. Contact us and request transportation for your group!

Serlachius’ two museum destinations
Serlachius Manor and Serlachius Headquarters are located in Mänttä, about three kilometres from each other. This should be taken into account when planning the day’s program. 

Choose also inclusive activities for your guided tours
All guided tours can be accompanied by assignments for the pupils. For our youngest visitors, we also offer a tour of the museum with the help of Virginie’s palette and My Museum exercise book.

Meals and snacks
A visit to the museum takes on a new dimension when it is combined with a meal at Restaurant Gösta (Serlachius Manor). The school lunch served to the tables offers an opportunity to practice polite behaviour, table manners and etiquette education in an authentic environment – in a fun and relaxed way. Make a lunch reservation and get up-to-date price information from our sales service. 

It is possible to enjoy your own snacks at the Serlachius Headquarters.

Reserve enough time for the visit
Guided tours last from one to two hours. Time flies doing various tasks. We can organise a program for a couple of days up to a camp school. In connection with each program, the time, place and age recommendation required for it have been announced.

Payment and cancellation
The teacher or group leader pays the entire group fee at the ticket office upon arrival. The teacher or the instructor of the children’s group participates free of charge. The visit can also be invoiced, in which case we will charge an invoicing fee of five euros. School bookings are subject to our museums’ general booking and cancellation terms and conditions, which you can find in the offer and order confirmation.
