The train-bike-travel chain works as follows:  

• Traveller can hop on a train in Tampere and book a bike in advance using the Donkey Republic app.  
• Upon arrival, you can use the bike at the Vilppula railway station, from where you can pedal towards Serlachius and at the same time tour the numerous exhibition sites of the Art Town.  
• At the end of the trip, one can return the bike to Vilppula station and start the return journey on the train. 
• The service is also well suited for short rentals in urban areas.

How does the rental work?

1. Download the Donkey Republic app 
2. Choose the station and bike you want – remember to bring a bicycle helmet with you! 
3. Open the lock with the app and go 

You can use the bike for a longer period of time or for a short time – even just to have a coffee or visit a museum. Returns can be made to any drive.
