Family events autumn 2026

Welcome to enjoy inspiring moments with art together! Our programme has been designed to suite the children and the young in all age groups.

Adults €16, pensioners €10.50, free admission for under-18s. The Museum Card is accepted.

Childrens’ Saturday – Inspired by Anish Kapoor

Serlachius Manor 5 Sep 2026 from 2 pm to 4 pm

We will examine colour pigments under a microscope and create our own black artwork to take home. 

Children’s Saturday takes place from 14:00 to 16:00 and children can take part with their own adult. The activity is suitable for all ages, and you can join in at any time during the event. The programme is carried out in Finnish language.

Childrens’ Saturday – Following in the Footsteps

Serlachius Headquarters 3 Oct 2026 from 2 pm to 4 pm

We will explore the On Foot exhibition through fun movement activities. Finally, in the workshop, we will create our own footprint artwork. 

Children can take part with their own adult. The activity is suitable for all ages, and you can join in at any time during the event. The programme is carried out in Finnish language.

Family Day

Serlachius Manor 18 Oct 2026 from 12 noon to 5 pm

Welcome to Serlachius Family Day, where you can explore together the strong colours, forms and surfaces of Anish Kapoor’s works. The programme is carried out in Finnish language. The Family Day workshop and guided tours are suitable for all ages.

Painting workshop, 12 noon–5 pm 

In the guided painting workshop, you can experiment with colours and create your own work inspired by the bold colours of Kapoor’s exhibition. 

Guided tours of Anish Kapoor’s exhibition at 1 pm and 3 pm (duration 45 minutes per tour) 

During the tour: 

-the exhibition’s themes will be introduced clearly and accessibly 

-small hands-on activities will be carried out in the exhibition 

-we will pause to look at the works in new ways 

Children’s Saturday – Art Adventure in the Exhibition Classics Works at the Manor

Serlachius Manor 7 Nov 2026 from 2 pm to 4 pm

We explore classic works of fine art like little art detectives, spot details and find our own favourites.
