What can we extract from the flow of life? The word ‘catch’ may mean, among other things, gathering a moving object as well as grasping, observing and understanding. It may also mean discovery or recognition.
In the works of the exhibition, the world is in motion. They direct our attention to presence. Life is incredibly rich and precious in its details. What do we want to stop at, what do we notice and what do we remember?
The contributing artists include: Rita Jokiranta, Vappu Rossi, Janna Syvänoja, Hanna Vihriälä, Hanna Saarikoski, Grönlund-Nisunen, Eeva Karhu, Tiina Pyykkinen and Heli Rekula. Exhibition’s curators are Laura Kuurne and Eeva Ilveskoski.
