How do you move from one place to another? Walking may seem like an everyday activity, but the exhibition Walking shows the traces that movement leaves in our surroundings and in our memory.

This exhibition at Serlachius Headquarters is the first wide-ranging museum exhibition in Finland to focus on walking. It presents ideas by artists and researchers about what walking can tell us about being human. In one of the artworks, you may even come across Death walking. The exhibition includes works from the Serlachius collection, loans from other collections and new works by contemporary artists. 

Ticket €11,50 entails the programme in Finnish language and coffee service. Museum personnel is reponsible for the programme. Welcome!
