Serlachius Manor 27 September from 3 pm–4:30 pm

Artist Agnes Meyer-Brandis and curator Ulla Taipale present the exhibition As Trees Go By. The guided tour will be held in English.

They adress how trees communicate with each other and how humans can participate in this communication.

They will also present Agnes Meyer-Brandis’ research work that has continued for several years in the Siikaneva fen in Ruovesi. The artist has followed the slow migration of trees in the peatland and created her work As Trees Go By based on it.

You can join with the price of the museum’s normal entrance ticket or with the Museum Card.

Note!

You can also participate in the event Art Sauna Art Talks: Migrating and Becoming Trees from 5 pm to 6 pm. The event will be held in English and the discussion will be moderated by Ulla Taipale. The event is free of charge and coffee will be served.
