Serlachius Art & Sauna Express

SUSTAINABLY ON PUBLIC TRANSPORTDuring the summer season, the Serlachius Art & Sauna Express bus line operates every day from Tampere directly to the museum and back. Buy tickets from Matkahuolto’s online service.

Museum visitors arriving in Tampere by train and continuing to Mänttä on the Serlachius Art & Sauna Express:

Due to ongoing renovation work at Tampere railway station, trains may occasionally arrive in Tampere with slight delays. Please take this into account and allow enough time to transfer from your train to the bus.

The Serlachius Art & Sauna Express can wait for passengers for a maximum of 10 minutes after its scheduled departure time. If you are delayed due to a late train, please inform Serlachius Sales Service by phone at +358 3 488 6801.

If you have asked the bus to wait and arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled departure time, please let the driver know your name when boarding. This helps the driver confirm that the passenger being awaited has arrived.

You can also borrow a free bike for getting between the sites – from either museum!

WE RECOMMEND BUYING YOUR TICKET IN ADVANCE

Online ticket sales will end after 30 minutes before leaving the first stop of the line.
Tickets can also be purchased on the bus, depending on availability, by card or cash.
A limited number of bicycle tickets and pet tickets are available.

In summer 2026, electric wheelchairs can also easily fit in the luggage compartment of the Serlachius Art & Sauna Express bus, as a large bus is in use. However, the bus itself is not accessible.
A walker etc. can travel with you, we appreciate advance information to Serlachius’ sales service.

PRICES – RETURN TRIP

A return ticket can be booked for different days.
A return trip is purchased as two one-way journeys. The system applies the adult return discount at the payment stage.
With a return ticket, a shuttle bus within the museum sites is free of charge during the afternoon.
