What do walking and jazz have in common? The rhythm of the Walking Bass tour is carried by a walking bass line familiar from jazz music, which leads the participants from the lobby of the Serlachius Headquarters to the On Foot exhibition.

The tour examines walking through music, art and images. Do you have blues playing in your mind while walking? Is walking a way for you to seek peace, think or walk your own paths?

During the tour, musical themes from the late 1800s to the present day will be heard, freely varied and intertwined with the themes of the exhibition. The bass player is musician Ahti Lassila.

Welcome to walk to the beat of the bass. The tour is included in the museum ticket price. The Museum Card is accepted. Duration 30 minutes.
