Step into a world of illusion. The mysterious works of Anish Kapoor (b. 1954), one of the world’s best-known contemporary artists, invite us to consider the limits of existence and reality. The artworks also need the viewer: our experience completes them, and that experience may be felt in the whole body. During this Senior Citizens’ Afternoon Coffee event, we will explore Kapoor’s powerful paintings and sculptural works, and reflect on the depths of both the artworks and ourselves. We will also see one of Kapoor’s most recent works: a monumental sculpture made for Mänttä, which transforms the exhibition space on an architectural scale.

Ticket €11,50 entails programme in Finnish language and coffee service. Museum personnel is responsible for the programme. Welcome!
