Timo Höyssä, Like a small fountain, 2026, lasitettu keramiikka.

The MOKA group was formed in early 2022 from visual artists from the Tampere Region. The MOKA group has been studying blunders and the personal blunders of the group members for about four years and has held two exhibitions.

The MOKA group consists of Senni Aleksandra, Timo Höyssä, Ilai Elias Lehto, Sanna Maria Paananen & Tero Ulvila Ulvila, Sanna Saarreharju and Liisa Tarleena Öhman.

At the Serlachius Residency, the MOKA group has been working on a museum complex of mistakes to be built for Finlayson in Tampere for the Art Realm ’26 Biennial. Its works are created from mistakes received from the public, which the group has collected anonymously as textual donations.

The main focus of the exhibition MOKA in the Process at the Serlachius Residency is on leaks and runoffs. Things spill and spill and stains cannot be avoided. Together, the artists explore this world of leaks and liquid-related damage and mistakes – each through their own world of materials and personal experiences.

Admission to the exhibition is free. There will be small refreshments at the opening. Welcome! Serlachius Residency: Kauppaneuvoksenkatu 3, Mänttä
