The first ones tell the stories of Finnish women who, with their own perseverance and courage, have broken glass ceilings on the path of equality. The stories of people familiar from real life have been compiled on the basis of numerous biographies, news and various stories. On stage, three professional actors will see historically significant women, representatives of popular culture and politicians of recent times. The performance is carried out in Finnish language.

The performance is part of Teatteri Siperia’s repertoire and it is carried out by actors Karoliina Blackburn, Marika Heiskanen and Petra Ahola. It premiered at Serlachius on International Women’s Day, 8 March 2025. 

The script is compiled by Karoliina Blackburn and the dramaturg is Laura Valkama.

The performance has been supported by the Arts Promotion Centre Finland.

The duration of the performance is about an hour.

The performance has unnumbered seats.

Free admission to all Serlachius exhibitions for theatre ticket holders on 3.5.2026. The exhibitions are open from 11 am to 6 pm.
