One of the great mysteries of 17th-century Dutch art is the identity of the artist who signed their paintings with the initials I.S. The exhibition Master I.S. – The Enigmatic Contemporary of Rembrandt, on view at Serlachius from 12 April to 17 August 2025, sheds light to this mystery. At the same time it is the first comprehensive overview of the artist’s career.
