A concert full of nostalgia

Award-winning tenor Jyrki Anttila performs the nostalgic classics of Saturday’s Desired from over the decades. He will be accompanied by Anu Kosonen (piano) and Petri Ikkelä (accordion).

The concert brings together all the most beloved songs from over the decades. The programme includes, among other things: Love is a Many-Splendored Thing, Romance, Äänisen aallot, Song about a Friend, Torna a Surriento, Kulkuri ja joutsen, Mutasukkaisuutta – Jealousy. The program also includes a vocal potpourri of the songs by Finnish composer Junnu Vainio and a fun potpourri of songs performed by a Finnish Quartet Kipparikvartetti.

The tenor’s glowing voice can be heard in songs such as Granada, Be My Love, Pagliacci aria. The versatile concert will also feature operetta, such as Volga Song, Weisst du es noch, Dein ist mein ganzes Herz.
