Traffic connections to Mänttä and the Serlachius Museums
The Serlachius shuttle bus runs from Tampere to Mänttä on the days that the museums are open, that is 1 September–31 May from Tuesday to Sunday and 1 June–31 August daily.

How much does it cost?
A return ticket from Tampere costs 25 € and one-way ticket € 15.
A return ticket including the entrance fee to the museums costs € 30. The return ticket entitles also the local travels between Mänttä's tourist attractions.
Children in the age of 4–11 years for half price.
One-way ticket for pensioners and students costs € 10.
A local traffic ticket for travelling within Mänttä costs € 3 a day.
The bus does not run on Finland's Independence Day (6 December), on Christmas Eve (24 December) and on Christmas Day (25 December) as well as on Good Friday.
The bus leaves for Mänttä at the bus stop located in front of Tampere railway station's entrance at 10.50 am. The bus operator is Mäntän Tilausliikenne Oy. Detailed timetables below.

The distance from Mänttä bus station to Serlachius Museum Gustaf is about half a kilometre and to Art Museum Gösta about two kilometres.
From Tampere a regional train leaves on Saturdays at 10.05 am and stops at Vilppula railway station at 11.05 am.

The distance from the Vilppula railway station to Serlachius Museum Gösta is about 5 kilometres and to Gustaf about 7 kilometres.
Mänttä-Vilppula is located on National Route 58 between Orivesi and Keuruu. The distance from Tampere to Mänttä is about 90 kilomtres and from Jyväskylä to Mänttä about 80 kilometres. The distance from Helsinki to Mänttä is little over 260 kilometres and from Turku, Vaasa and Kuopio 250 kilometres.
Museum Gustaf is located in the centre of Mänttä, near the church and the paper mill. Art Museum Gösta is located about 2,5 kilometres outside the centre of Mänttä to the direction of Vilppula.
