Serlachius Museum Gustaf (2h)
You have arrived to the former head office of the forest combine G. A. Serlachius Ltd. The magnificent building tells about the company’s vivid history and the successful story of creating an ideal community of its time. You will meet for example the legend of Finnish paper industry, the Paper Devil, himself. But wait a second, it seems that you have time-travelled! A strict secretary from the 1950’s will test, if you are suitable enough to work in the paper company. During the humoristic tour you will certainly become aware of the hierarchical society of the past. Are you capable of pressing paper? We’ll see! Laughter guaranteed!

Nordic Walking on the Love Path (1,5h)
Put your backpack on – it is time to enjoy some fresh air! If you have never tried Nordic walking, now is your chance! Along the historical Love Path you will hear fascinating stories about the great leaders and common people of the past. You will also learn something new about Finnish nature. In the middle of the forest we will enjoy some refreshments and the tranquility of Finnish nature.

Serlachius Museum Gösta and the surroundings (3,5h)
Now you have entered the heart of Finnish art! You will see marvelous artworks from one of the greatest private art collections in the Nordic countries including the famous artists from the Finnish Golden Age of Art, e.g. Schjerfbeck and Gallen-Kallela. The secret of Finnish character will be revealed to you through these paintings all Finns love. You will also sense the pulse of contemporary art in our various exhibitions. The patron Serlachius’ old residence, the Manor, and the museum’s new extension, the Pavilion, are also worth visiting in themselves. The Pavilion is an internationally awarded masterpiece of wood architecture.

After the memorable art tour it is time to indulge in the pure tastes of Restaurant Gösta! “Natural cuisine!” as Chef de cuisine Henry Tikkanen describes his restaurant. Hyvää ruokahalua! Bon appétit!
